British drug-maker AstraZeneca announced success in treating lupus in this late-stage study.
In their recent trial, AstraZeneca's intravenous drug, anifrolumab, significantly reduced disease activity in patients with lupus.
In fact, more than half of the patients on the treatment were able to reduce their use of steroids - something almost every lupus patient strives for!
